Nana Yaa Brefo, a well-known radio and television journalist, said most Ghanaian women fake during sex.
By feigning during sex, she claims most men are unaware of their ‘sexual incapabilities’ and do not address them.
According to Nana Yaa Brefo, a ‘troubled wife’ is caused by a lack of good sex. She said
“In Ghana, many women love sex but we don’t. We don’t. It’s difficult to discuss, so the woman instead raises her voice at you. You don’t pay for housekeeping, your sex game is weak, and when everyone else goes to Dubai, you won’t take your wife. Pre-ejaculation pain is unnecessary. How can you expect a woman to love you?”
She said this during a debate about the rise of emotional and physical abuse in relationships.
Nana Yaa Brefo said she had never been beaten by a man but had been subjected to tremendous emotional torture in her previous marriage.
Nana Yaa blamed culture and society for the problem and advised women to leave abusive relationships.
