Songstress Mzbel has revealed why she put her father’s phone number on a blacklist for being a staunch member of the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“I’ve blocked my father because he asked me to block him so he does not receive the NDC messages I broadcast. I never knew my father was NPP until he asked me to stop sending him NDC messages. I told him I can only stop If I block him and he agreed that I block him,” she said Citi TV’s UpsideDown show.
According to Mzbel who has always supported the opposition party NDC, her father never told her about his political affiliation until she started sending him all the plans the NDC has for Ghana and he asked her to stop.
Mzbel shocked by her father’s position decided to rather block him on Whatsapp after the father opted for that option.
Mzbel indicated that she supports the National Democratic Congress (NDC) because she was born in James Town where everyone there is a staunch supporter of the largest opposition party in Ghana, NDC.
