Brogya Genfi, a former Ashanti Regional Youth Director of the NDC, and one of the fiercest critics of Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta has publicly apologized to the Minister after it emerged that both minority and majority members of the appointments committee have by consensus, presented the Minister to the plenary fora voice-vote approval.
Brogya Genfi’s apology however, appears to be a sarcastic clap-back at the minority caucus for approving the Finance Minister despite all the allegations against him including allegations of wrongdoing in the infamous Agyapa deal.
Many members and leaders of the NDC have expressed disappointment in the leadership of the minority caucus for the manner in which they have approved some appointees of the President against the wishes of the Party.
National Communications Officer of the NDC was the first leader to publicly lash out at the minority for defying the wishes of the Party in furtherance of their so-called parochial interest.
Brogya Genfi’s sarcastic public apology also appears to tow the same line as the party’s faith in their minority leadership continue to fade away.
