New York Fashion Icon, Jennifer Cole launches “Dream it with Jenn Cole” – APPLY Here

The BBC Ghana most recently reported on the willingness of New York-based fashion icon, Jennifer Cole to usher 100s of Afrikan women into the world of the fashion industry with her new project dubbed “Dream it with Jenn Cole.”

Fast forward after the publication, several up and coming models and fashionistas have reached out to our portal making enquiries in reference to how to sign up to their dream initiative spearheaded by Jennifer Cole and The Taste of Afrika.

Well, the moment is here as The BBC Ghana has gotten more information about the upcoming initiative (Dream it with Jenn Cole) to the good of those who desire to be fashion icons and supermodels someday.

REQUIREMENT

• Potential designs must be truly passionate about the fashion industry, sewing and being creative

• Potential models must be truly passionate about modelling and the fashion industry

• All must be willing to learn and combine both Afrikan and American fashion and modelling techniques and skills

• All must be serious and willing to work hard and learn all that you can about the fashion/modelling industry

• All must be willing to work with others as a team

• All must be interested in wanting to become an entrepreneur in the future

How To APPLY

Submit a short video (3-5 minutes long) of yourself telling us and showing us the following information that applies to yourself:

• Your name and age
• Where you are from
• What classes you’ve taken or experience you already have in fashion/modelling§Why do you think this program would be good for you
• What do you already know how to do (sewing, sketching, patterns, etc.)
• Show yourself working on something
• Show some of your finished garments
• Model’s video should be of yourself catwalking wearing Made-in-Ghana shorts or pants with a tank top
• Note that there is no limitation on body size to qualify
