Confirmed news reaching The BBC Ghana has is that Chelsea’s bid for German sensational midfielder, Kai Harvet has been accepted by the German side Bayern Leverkusen.
Kai Harvet who has been Chelsea’s top target in this transfer window was reported to have attracted the interest of many top clubs in Europe including Real Madrid.
The 21year old attacking midfielder who scored 12 goals and 6 assists in 30 appearances in the German Bundesliga and 4goals and 3 assist in 5 appearances in the Europa League is considered key in Frank Lampard’s team as he plans to build a young team to rule the world football for the present and future after securing the transfer of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.
Even though the player agreed personal terms with Chelsea before the just-ended campaign as earlier reported, both teams were far apart in term of the transfer fee as Leverkusen asking price remained €100m while Chelsea offered €70m.
