The Taste of Afrika, an initiative which is aimed at bringing acts from different Afrikan countries together to bring life to arts and culturetainment in the continent has chocked another feat.
Thus, Tengol K. Kplemani who happens to be the brain behind The Taste of Afrika is now tasked to recommend artistes and producers on his network (The Taste of Afrika) to Sony ATV.
The deal was announced by Munyaradzi Chanetsa, A&R Manager: Africa for Sony ATV Music Publishing South Africa, which will see Tengol connecting or better still recommending able artistes to the reputable music publishing and distribution brand, Sony ATV.
The truth is, the partnership between Tengol and Sony ATV through Munya will go a long way to project our Afrikan artistes and producers to the world via Sony considering the pedigree of Sony ATV in our world of music.
As a reminder, Munyaradzi Chanetsa before joining Sony ATV was employed as the Head of Licensing for the Composer, Author and Publishing Association of South Africa.
Prior to that, he was the Head of Operations: Africa at Content Connect Africa from 2009 – 2019 and prior to that he was the Head of Marketing and Promotions for Putumayo World Music in South Africa from 2007 to 2009.
