    True Faith Church International Youth On Board Donate To Kumasi Children’s Home

    The Christian Bible makes it clear that there’s so much blessing in giving than receiving. Riding on this assertion, True Faith Church International Youth On Board has showed love and generosity to Kumasi Children’s Home.

    Thus, True Faith Church International Youth On Board (TFCI-YOB) over the weekend donated items worth GH¢6000 to Kumasi Children’s Home located at Kumasi Airport Roundabout in the Ashanti Region.

    The president of the Association, Emmanuel Adutwum Bamfo and the entire Executives through the benevolence of their loyal members touching on the rationale behind the gesture explained that;

    “Lent is about charity, penance and reflection. So, TFCI-YOB association decided to do an act of charity by making breakfast for the orphans and other items to help especially in these trying times. The kind gesture was made to support Kumasi Children’s Home to battle the novel COVID-19.”, the president told The BBC Ghana in a virtual interview.

    Also, Mrs Mabel Amponsah who is the head of the Kumasi Children’s Home, Mrs Mabel Amponsah expressed appreciation towards the gesture and pleaded with the general public to come to their aid.

    “I am very happy to know that you have decided to spend some time with us and donate to these children,” she sounded optimistic.

    Even though she admitted it’s a government-supported facility, she said support from individuals and benevolent organizations helps to cater for pressing needs. Madam Amponsah disclosed that the home currently has 77 inmates, 30girls and 47 males whose ages ranged between 3-weeks baby to an adult of 28 years.
