Odakky Andy, a singer and first runner-up of Tv3 Mentor Season 1, has provided a clue of what he is up to as far as his profession is concerned at the studios of Kumasi-based Nhyira Fm.

According to Odakky Andy in an interview with DJ Ogidi Brown, he is now into barbering to cushion his music career since the support structure is inadequate for Ghanaian singers.

He made it explicit that he almost stopped music mostly in the name of financial restrictions, but thanks to God, the revenue from barbering is helping him sail through in recent times.

He, therefore, recommended up-and-coming musicians to find side employment to sustain them while they travel through their music careers.

On February, Odakky Andy overcame 750 applicants during the Kumasi auditions of Tv3 Mentor Season 1 and was sent to Accra to represent Kumasi in the main event where he came out second after weeks of mind-blowing performances.

Andy soared to prominence following the Tv3 Mentor Season 1 competition with his incredibly jammable ‘Sweetie’ track which according to him, was even recorded approximately 6years long before the Tv3 Mentor Season 1.
