Ardent listeners of political shows yesterday, May 6, 2021, were thrown aback when news broke that Captain Smart of Angel Broadcasting Network has been suspended by his employers.
Simply put, the firebrand radio broadcaster was asked by his boss to take a break from radio for obvious reasons.
Apparently, there is pressure on his boss from a high-ranking NPP government official to call Captain Smart to order over his excessive criticism of the government.
Fast forward, those who love the opinionated nature of Captian Smart took to their various social media handles to express their displeasure for the harsh decision taken by the CEO of Angel Broadcasting Network, Dr Kweku Oteng.
In the course of the various argument on social media, Saddick Adams who is the head of Sports at Accra-based Angel FM also added his voice to the buzz buy his reaction beats the imagination of critical thinking minds.
Taking to his verified Facebook page, he wrote, “Captain Kwadwo Smart. Haha”.
And his reaction citing the prefix to the post has caused mayhem among his fans. Thus, the majority felt very disanointing as to them, colleagues of Captain Smart especially Saddick Adams should have stood behind Captain in this trying time but their reaction is on the contrary.
