The National Communications Authority (NCA) has shut down some television stations operating in Ghana.
Today, the NCA carried out a routine exercise and found out that some television stations operating on the digital free to air channels were operating without authorization.
After the exercise, 49 television stations operating illegally in Ghana. The affected television stations include Cash TV, operated by Rev. Obofour of the Anointed Palace Chapel.
Thunder TV owned by Nana Agradaa has also been shut down including Chief TV by Pastor Chief.
