The most decorated African rapper of our time, Michael Owusu Addo who is popularly known as Sarkodie is said to compose a special tribute song to the late Former President Jerry John Rawlings.
The Illuminati crooner is said to feature the Volta Regime Music icon, Edem on the much-anticipated tribute song.
This news as reported by theBBCghana.Com was gathered on Kumasi-based Angel Fm’s weekend entertainment show which is hosted by DJ Funky.
According to the source, information gathered from the camp of Sarkodie indicates that the said music is not a contracted song but it is been composed on the basis of showing gratitude to the achievements of the former president who just passed on.
It could be recalled that former President Jerry John Rawlings met his sad death at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Thursday.
The title of the song wasn’t disclosed by DJ Funky is with the belief that Sarkodie will be dropping the said news on his social media platforms any moment soon.
