Sarkodie, a Ghanaian rapper, has indicated that he did not intend to release the song he did in reaction to Yvonne Nelson’s abortion claim.
The rapper released a diss tune called “Try Me” last month in response to what Yvonne Nelson said about him in her biography, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.”
He messed up the song’s words and slut shamed the actress.
Sarkodie was asked about the song weeks after it was released, and in an interview with ‘Way Up With Angela Yee,’ he stated that none of his management team was aware of it.
According to Sarkodie, he sneaked into the studio to spit out his sentiments on the beat with the intention of releasing it.
He claimed that if his team had known he was recording a song to address the issue, he would have been stopped, therefore he had to conceal it.
Because the music had been leaked, he was obligated to release it.
The rapper added that when the song was published, he received multiple phone calls, but in the heat of the moment, the only person he knew would call to chastise him was his lawyer Cynthia Quarcoo.
