A Nigerian woman identified as Benita Okwuibe, and her relatives were shot at her husband’s funeral after being blamed for her late husband’s death.
The woman’s husband died in December 2021 after reportedly battling with elephantiasis. Report from our source indicates the duo married just a year when the tragedy occurred.
It happened that the family of the deceased held the woman responsible for the man’s death despite the fact he died from the aforementioned ailment and during his funeral on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, she was shot alongside her mother and co-wife at the burial venue.
According to a Facebook user, Eze Zinny, Benita’s mother and co-wife died while Benita is in critical condition in the hospital. Zinny, who is Benita’s friend claimed her friend was shot because her late husband’s relatives blamed her for his death.
