When Shatta Wale first announced his collaboration with American pop star Beyoncé, he was bashed a lot on social media by people who felt he was overreacting over nothing.
Well, as typical of Shatta Wale, he didn’t reply to his critiques but waited to prove them wrong.
During the shooting of Beyoncé’s latest film “Black is King” which has been officially released, the Dancehall artiste was made the face of the movie.
In a post sighted by The BBC Ghana on his Instagram page, Charles Nii Armah Mensah alias Shatta Wale expressed his gratitude to Beyoncé for giving him such a huge platform to share his talent.
For clarity sake, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, actor and CEO of Shatta Movement Empire. He won Artiste of the Year at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for his best-known single “Dancehall King”.
