Hon. Kennedy Agyapong of Assin Central Member fame has asserted that 80% of fake pastors in the country hail from Ashanti Region.

According to the controversial MP who uses ‘The Seat’ programme on Net 2 TV to expose fake men of God in the country, the investigation he has conducted so far reveal that these fake pastors are young men who have graduated themselves from magicians to men of God and are scamming people for money.
“My investigations so far tell me that they (the fake pastors) are very young pastors and about 80% are from Kumasi. I can’t explain why but from my investigation most of them are from the Ashanti Region.”

According to Ken Agyapong, the activities of these fake pastors that worry most is how they’re collapsing and destroying marriages.
