Jackline Acheampong who is affectionately called Gyakie in our showbiz sphere is the most sought-after female artiste as we speak for obvious reasons.
Although Gyakie has been in the music industry for relatively long but her “Forever” song did all the magic as it helped her register her name on the lips of many Ghanaians.
And consequently, Gyakie is enjoying all the hype, especially on social media. But it seems people are beginning g to analyze the musical prowess of the songstress under discussion and DJ Slim of ABN Radio One fame is part.
According to DJ Slim who shared his candid opinion based on his experience in the game, Gyakie is one lazy Ghanaian artiste as all her songs are flat or the same which cometh with no variety.
“Gyakie to me is not even a recording artiste or she’s just being lazy. I only play her ‘forever’ song on the radio not because it’s good to me but some people like it. But if you listen to all her songs, they are flat, but there’s so much hype around her..”, DJ Slim said.
DJ Slim further that Gyakie should do her homework very well else the hype won’t sustain her in the music industry for long as hype can be bought but it takes real talent to be in the system for years.
