The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP has vouched for the loyalty of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, stating that he would never betray the party for the gain of the NDC.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, the NPP Chairman shot down allegations that Hon. Kennedy Agyapong voted for the NDC’s candidate, Hon. Alban Bagbin, instead of Prof. Mike Oquaye to become the current Speaker of Parliament.
According to Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, despite voting in electing the new Speaker of Parliament not ending in the way the NPP wanted, people shouldn’t target Hon. Kennedy Agyapong and falsely accuse him of stabbing the party in the back.
“We didn’t want things to go the way it went but it has happened and we shouldn’t fall for the propaganda by the NDC”, Chairman Wontumi warned.
He accused Kelvin Taylor of starting the negative propaganda against Hon. Kennedy Agyapong and warned NPP members to dump his allegation in the dustbin.
