Sarkodie’s astronomical rise to fame from obscurity has been a source of inspiration to everyone even beyond the music sphere. That personality has won him a lot of fans all over the world.
But he has another persona that people really don’t like and it’s a tag that has been hanged on his neck for a very long time. Some opposing fans say he’s too arrogant and has a big ego.

This belief is widespread and has become synonymous to his brand. However, in an interview with DJ Rueben, gospel musician Yaw Sarpong declared the popular notion about Sarkodie null and void.
Defending the rapper, Yaw Sarpong cited his encounter with Sarkodie when they released a song dubbed Ahobrase3 (Humility) most recently. He made it emphatic that Sarkodie didn’t take a penny from him and all other expenses making him convinced that he’s humble down to earth.
