Parts of the Greater Accra, Central Region and their surrounding areas have experienced earth tremors.

The phenomenon which took place at about 10:40 pm Wednesday, June 24, 2020, occurred three times in the space of 10 minutes.

Areas in southern Ghana that experienced the earth tremors which occurred 3 times in the space of 10 minutes include Accra, Tema, Kasoa and some parts of the Eastern Region.

According to a report by state-owned daily graphic, the magnitude of the tremor is 4.0. The good news is that we have sighted CCTV footage of the tremor under discussion.

As a reminder, a tremor is an involuntary movement of earth surface caused by stress in the underground rocks. They are both signs of seismic movement within the earth.
