We Don’t Have The Same Team As 2010, We Don’t Have A Player Like Asamoah Gyan – Coach Milo

We don’t have the same team as 2010, We don’t have a player like Asamoah Gyan

Coach Milovan Rajevac has said the quality of the current Black Stars is far behind that of 2010 during his first stint with the team.

According to him, the current Black Stars squad lacks a prolific figure like Asamoah Gyan who has what it takes to conjure magic at the eleventh hour.

In a press conference ahead of Ghana’s last group match against the Comoros Islands on Tuesday, Milovan did not mince words when he said:

“We don’t have the same team like 2010. Not enough time for preparations. We don’t have a player like Asamoah Gyan.”

Ghana would need to beat Comoros Islands by two goals or more and expect that Morrocco beats Gabon in order to stand a chance of qualifying to the Round 16 stage of the AFCON 2021.

Meanwhile, Ghanaians have expressed profound displeasure at the lack of a striker who could put the ball at the back of the net.
