Gas price in Ghana has shocked Yvonne Nelson and pushed her to ask Nana Addo a question.
According to Yvonne, she was met with surprise after she went out to buy Gas. “I went to buy gas the other day…..I couldn’t believe how much I was told to pay,” Yvonne Nelson.

Calling out the President in her tweet that is attracting attention, she asked “@NAkufoAddo is this what you promised Ghanaians?” The actress’ comment has attracted mixed reactions from supporters of the ruling and opposition party.
“Unfortunately, energy prices are rising sharply around the globe due to external factors (demand/supply disparities, Russia/Ukraine tensions, etc). Hence, we cannot put all the blame on govt for the tight financial squeeze. The forces pushing up prices are outside govt control,” @dom155rich1 told Yvonne Nelson.
Another @JohanMawufemor said “when did it occur to you that there are factors that are external to governments which influence the price of fuel? Do you know the rate of change in fuel prices in the country; when did the Russian/Ukraine crisis start? Whatever is happening is the judgment of God on your govt”.

This wouldn’t be the first time the Ghanaian actress is calling out the Nana Addo led government. In early February, she posted a tweet lashing out at the government when she said “believing in this government is like believing it will snow in Ghana”.
