891 New Cases Send Ghana’s Coronavirus Count To 21,968 – Check Regional Breakdown

Eight-hundred and ninety-one new cases of the novel coronavirus have sent the country’s cumulative case count to 21,968, the Ghana Health Service has announced.

The new numbers are coming from 13 out of the 16 regions in the country and were confirmed from samples taken dating back to June 26, Director-General of the GHS, Dr Patrick Aboagye said at a press conference Tuesday.

Greater Accra Region cases – 11,508

Ashanti Region cases – 4,534

Western Region cases – 1,846

Central Region cases- 992

Eastern Region cases – 835

Volta Region cases – 369

Upper East Region cases – 278

Western North Region cases – 154

Bono East Region cases – 139

Northern Region cases – 137

Oti Region – 112

Upper West Region – 55

Savannah Region – 46

Bono Region – 38

Ahafo Region – 26

North East Region – 8
