The Volta Regional Chairman of the NPP Mr Makafui Woanyah claims 650 foreigners have been arrested and prevented from registering in the ongoing voters’ registration in the Volta Region.
The Ghana – Togo border in the Ketu South Constituency has been under serious scrutiny due to the ongoing voters registration exercise by the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
“We have arrested some 650 foreigners of which some have been prosecuted, others in police custody and others have been deported “.Mr. Makafui Woanyah made this known during a media briefing in the region.
In other news development, The Ministry of Education (MoE) together with the Ghana Education Service (GES) has begun the distribution sets of pass questions and answer booklets from the West African Examination Council (WAEC) numbering over 200,000 to Junior High School Candidates who are in the public schools across the country.
