‘Free SHS puts a huge strain on national budget, raises job creation challenge’ – Asantehene

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has appealed to political parties to eschew insults and violence as they embark on their various campaign trails ahead of the December 7 polls.

He admonished that politicians should rather campaign about the track records of their various terms in office.

The Asantehene impressed on the politicians the importance of maintaining the peace and stability of the nation before, during, and after the 2020 elections.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II made these remarks when the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia paid a courtesy call on him at the Manhyia Palace at the start of his four-day tour of the Ashanti Region on Sunday, October 11, 2020.
