The Taste of Afrika Hosts Grammy Nominee Vasti Jackson In Ghana

Vasti Jackson who happens to be a multiple Grammy-nominated world-renowned composer, guitarist, vocalist, producer, Mississippi living blues legend is finally in our motherland, Ghana courtesy The Taste of Afrika.

As said earlier, Vasti Jackson is currently in Ghana as part of measures put in place for the upcoming mega launch of The Taste of Afrika spearheaded by Tengol K. Kplemani.

Vasti Jackson in a chit-chat with the media after touching down, he made it known that he came to Ghana for The Taste of Afrika, but he will surely do collaborative works with some Ghanaian artistes including Stonebwoy.

For the purpose of clarity, Vasti Jackson is the recipient of the JMA 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, 2019 Polar International Music Award (with Playing for Change) 2019 Grammy Nominee, 2017 Arts Ambassador, 2016 Grammy Nominee, 2015 Albert King Lifetime Guitar Award recipient, 2014 Cultural ambassador, and 2012 Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame inductee Vasti Jackson.

With more than forty-seven years as a professional musician. As an artist, Vasti is known for sweat-drenched, soul-ripping live performances marked by some of the most stunning, and innovative guitar playing today.

Vasti’s stellar vocals, fiery guitar, and stage presence captures the audience and leaves a lasting impression that celebrates the triumph of the blues, and the joy of rhythm that is soul-satisfying to all that are lucky enough to experience his music.
