Ghanaian songstress, Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong, known in showbiz as Becca started so well in our music industry, dropping hits after hits.
Consequently, she was listed among the A-List musicians at some point, but the reality today is far different and unfortunate. The ‘African Woman’ crooner is conspicuously missing in action as far as our music game or industry is concerned.
Although at the beginning of the year 2020, Becca took to her official Instagram page to announced her plans for the new decade, which included her desire to quit being a ‘recording’ artiste.
Fast forward, she continued to unfollow all her fans on Instagram with the exception of her Nigerian husband, Tobi Sanni for reasons best known to her.
But in the best knowledge and findings made by Kumasi-based Nhyira FM’s Ruthy, Ghanaians should blame Becca’s husband for the abrupt retirement of their favourite Songstress.
During a live discussion on “Entertainment Power” show on Nhyira Fm, Ruthy made it emphatic that Becca’s weird decision to unfollow all her fans on Instagram was masterminded by her Nigerian husband.
“I blame Becca’s husband for causing her early ‘retirement’ in the music industry. From the look of things and considering how Becca has struggled in the past years to become a great musician in the country, she wouldn’t have slow down if no one is influencing her”, Ruthy said.
Ruthy furthered that it’s high time Becca considered rescinding her decision and bounce back stronger like never before as she has a lot to offer the up and coming musicians in the country especially the ladies.
