MP for Tamale Central, Murtala Mohammed has postulated that NPP’s Kennedy Agyapong does not deserve the title ‘honourable’ because of his reckless utterances.
According to him, although it is possible for one to err, people with the title must note that “you are given that title because you are expected to behave a certain way.”
“For you to be honourable, you are expected to be absolutely honourable to be addressed as such,” he said.
Murtala Mohammed, who was commenting on Kennedy Agyapong’s utterances on Prime Morning on Joy Prime TV, said, “one of the reasons why I have insisted I don’t want to be addressed as honourable, is because the conduct of some of the so-called honourable members is absolutely dishonourable.”
“There is no any pride in wanting to be associated with that title looking at such conduct. To be very honest with you,” he told Daniel Dadzie.
The comment made by Tamale Central MP, Murtala Mohammed comes at the back of the Hon Kennedy Agyapong who is on a threatening spree in recent times.
It could be recalled that after various markets in Accra and Kumasi caught fire, Kennedy Agyapong threatened to burn down the house of former President, John Mahama.
He also threatened the late Ahmed Suale who was allegedly working with investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas. Few days after the threat, Ahmed was killed by some unknown gunmen at Madina.
And this time around, Hon Kennedy Agyapong has threatened another Journalist of Joy FM and he and his management have filed a lawsuit against him.
