Mahama Should Have Seen Ejura Report Before Opening His Mouth To Talk Of Compensation – Antwi-Danso
A member of the three-member committee that probed the disturbances in Ejura, Dr Vladimir Antwi-Danso has said former President John Dramani Mahama should have been privy to the report before commenting on the issue.
Mr Mahama had demanded that victims of the Ejura disturbances be compensated.
Speaking on TV3, Dr Antwi-Danso said “I don’t know where he is coming from but we have submitted our report and what we want to be done to those person is in our report.
“We have recommended what we need to recommend, I don’t have the right to bring out the report when the government has not brought the report out.”
He added “Humanly feeling, as Antwi-Danso, they [Victims] deserve to be compensated. What we need to do is to see what happened and how it happened and what type of compensation. So we have something in our report but the government must come out with that report.
“Ex-president John Dramani Mahama should have been privy to the report before he opened his mouth. We did not give him a copy because he didn’t send us.”
