Veteran actor Adwoa Pee, who was well-known in the 1990s for her roles in local drama and Thursday Theatre, has revealed that she is silently praying for the cold hands of death to embrace her.

Adwoa Pee is currently suffering from Spondylosis and requires a large sum of money to undergo surgery to correct it, but she lacks the necessary funds.

Spondylosis, according to Google, is a blanket term for the age-related degeneration of the spinal discs. Spondylosis is a common condition that progressively worsens with age. This term is frequently used to refer to degenerative arthritis of the spine (osteoarthritis).

While the majority of people do not exhibit symptoms, some may experience pain or muscle spasms. Often, no special treatment is required. If symptoms develop, they can be treated with medication, corticosteroid injections, physiotherapy, and occasionally surgery.

Adwoa told Obibini TV that she explained her situation to celebrated actress Jackie Appiah but she snubbed her after hearing the bill involved.

“When I mentioned the amount, my daughter hung up on me and refused to answer my calls,”

She continued by stating that she was fortunate that actress and United Showbiz host Nana Ama Mcbrown stepped in to assist her.

Meanwhile, Adwoa Pee requires approximately $60,000 for surgery in the United States of America (USA) to restore normalcy.
