Shatta Wale, a dancehall musician, made it formal in May 2020 that he was no longer working with his militants, which consisted of Addi Self, Captan, Joint 77, and Natty Lee.
According to him, they are slothful musicians who are not prepared for the spotlight regardless of the music counseling advice he gives them.
Then, during a live Facebook interaction, Shatta Wale disclosed that he had severed ways with them in January.
However, he was compelled to make the announcement in May due to the fact that they continue to produce music under his name.
“I have granted them access, but they continue to post meaningless compositions as if I wrote them for them, which I do not want. They lack talent as musicians. I only wanted them to record music so that people would support them, allowing them to make money,” he said.
