There was total darkness in Ghana especially among the stakeholders in the music industry on Monday, August 29, 2017 when the sudden demise of George Forest popped up.
The celebrated award winning Kumasi-based sound engineer, George Forest died at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after battling an undisclosed illness. He was taken ill and admitted at the hospital in the Ashanti regional capital where he gave up the ghost.
Seven (7) years down the line after the demise of the legendary sound engineer, a team from SeanCity TV with her lead presenter Ruthy paid a courtesy visit to the surviving son of the late sound engineer at Ntonso, off Mampong road in the Ashanti region.
In the course of the interview, Ruthy asked George Forest Jnr. what he knows about the causative factor of his father’s sudden death.
According to George Forest Jnr., his father didn’t die a natural death for he suspects a foul play from some key industry players as the orchestrators of George Forest’s short life on earth.
Regardless, George Forest Jnr. reiterated that his father although not alive but he remains the best sound engineer ever Ghana has produced since Republic Day!
