The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has laughed off the appointment of Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang as running mate of the NDC Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
According to him, the appointment of the learned professor brings no additional value to the NDC ticket, saying that even loudmouth comedienne Afia Schwarzenegger would have been a better choice.
Chairman Wontumi in a usual fashion has accused Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang of being an occult, even though he added no evidence to buttress his claims.
“Jane Opoku-Agyemang is a mallam. She can suspend and enter the sea after chanting for hours. Some of her students saw her chanting and suspending and since then, they have shared the stories to people. It is there for people to verify”. He said.
“Even Afia Schwarzenegger is a better choice for running mate than Prof Naana Opoku Agyeman”. He added.
