The peace of the world has been at a halt as a novel coronavirus epidermic from somewhere in Wuhan, a province of China turned into a pandemic spreading into almost every corner of the world and claiming many lives at its tyrant hands to death.
On a sad note, Ghana our beloved country was also exposed to this coronavirus as China remains one of the numerous countries that Ghanaians day-in-day-out travel for trade as China now turns into a big economic market to the world.
Due to the novelty of the virus, scientist and researchers have still not been able to find a possible vaccine or antidote to avert the novel virus, and we are only left with the option of ensuring precautionary measures to curb the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the country.
President Nana Akufo Addo therefore saw the need to closed down schools but due to the timely WASSCE Senior High Schools Examination, final year students were made to re-open and prepare the future leaders for their final year exams.
Unfortunately for us as a country a number of these Senior High Schools (SHS) after reopening have recorded confirmed cases of coronavirus and these schools together with the various number of cases include:
1. Adisadel College – 13 confirmed cases
2. Mfantseman Senior High School – 13 confirmed Cases
3. Apam Senior High School – 7 confirmed Cases
4. Accra Girls Senior High School – 6 confirmed cases
5. Wesley Senior High School – 1 confirmed Case
