“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God,” Isaiah 41:10 states. I will strengthen you, yes, I will assist you, and with My righteous right hand, I will uphold you.”
When God says, “Fear not,” he is requesting faith on our part, not fear. Our faith in him as Lord over all provides us with the strength to overcome all fear, real or imagined.
“For I am with you” – regardless of the circumstance, we have nothing to fear as long as we remain “in faith,” for God is with us and protecting us.
We share information about a well-known Ghanaian Christian pastor who is not a firm believer in Isaiah 41:10.
A list has been circulated that includes politicians, businessmen, a pastor, judges, and other state officials who have all been assigned military men as bodyguards.
The most shocking part of the list is the inclusion of Archbishop Duncan Williams, Head Pastor of the Action Chapel International, as one of the beneficiaries of military protection.
Six military officers serve as his bodyguards. This is a betrayal of God’s covenant promise in Isaiah.
The clergyman’s military detachment was drawn from the infantry’s 5th Battalion.
Meanwhile, soldiers providing security for the Speaker of Parliament’s office have been withdrawn.
The minority caucus warned that the Akufo-Addo administration would be held accountable if anything bad happened to the Speaker.
The question is whether the Archbishop is afraid of something bad happening to him.
Is Isaiah 41:10 a fabrication of God?
