The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has announced that he will officially outdoor his running mate, Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang on Monday.
The former president took to his social media handles to make this announcement. Making the announcement, he wrote;
“I will, on Monday at 6.45pm, host a ceremony to formally out-door my Running Mate for the December elections, Professor Naana Jane Opoku- Agyemang.
A distinguished and respected academic, Naana Jane is the first female Running Mate on the ticket of a major political party in Ghana. She is credited with pursuing a healthy mixture of innovative policy initiatives, quality outcomes, and massive infrastructural development during her tenure as Minister for Education.
Because of the COVID-19 protocols, the ceremony will be limited to about one hundred (100) people drawn from a wide array of groupings, with a live broadcast on radio and television and also a Livestream across social media and on my various Handles and Pages, @JDMahama.”
