The African Tourism Board (ATB) has partnered with The Taste Of Afrika to produce its first major cultural event in Tamale, Ghana’s Northern Region, to coincide with the Christmas season.
The next major event christened “Cultural Oneness Festival,” is intended to recognise and promote Ghana’s many tribes’ rich traditions.
The festival’s goal is to promote cultural awareness and solidarity, as well as unique customs, arts, and music, particularly in the country’s north, which is often disregarded when such high-level events are held.
The festival is anticipated to contribute to fostering mutual understanding and consolidating the country’s unity, as well as developing and growing the tourism industry and luring investment to that side of the country. It is also anticipated to offer another option for the numerous visitors from the diaspora who intend to visit the country for the Yuletide festivities.

The board pledged to support and publicize the festival as a strategic partner to ensure its success, and it further stated that “we will actively participate in promoting the festival through our various communication channels, including our websites, social media platforms, and members group platforms.”
In order to enhance the event’s impact and reach, the board once more announced that it was open to accepting coordinated marketing plans and promotional efforts.
The Taste Of Afrika’s CEO, Tengol K. Kplemani, praised the collaboration as exciting and intended to give northern tourism a distinctive character.
