One time Croatian best player, Ivan Rakitic was the skipper to watch in La Liga Santander as he was linked to a possible move to Barcelona.
His dream was made possible as he joined the Catalonian side on a record-breaking fee that saw his service as the Camp Nou.
After six years at Barcelona, Ivan Rakitic has returned to Sevilla. The Croatian midfielder has rejoined Sevilla after a successful time in Barcelona, winning 13 trophies including the Champions League in 2015.
The 32-year-old was at Sevilla between January 2011 and June 2014 before joining Barca.
A Barcelona statement read: “The Andalusian team will pay FC Barcelona 1.5m euros plus 9m in variables.”
