Songstress Sista Afia has stated that if given the authority, she would legalize marijuana instead of prostitution and LGBTQ+ in Ghana.
Sista Afia explained why she would choose marijuana over prostitution and LGBTQ rights: “Most guys like marijuana, so if she has the power, she will legalize it in Ghana.”
Meanwhile, the Anti-LGBTQ Bill, introduced in Parliament by Sam George and a few other MPs, has yet to be passed.
The primary goal of the Anti-LGBTQ Bill is to criminalize LGBTQ+ and related activities, which has sparked numerous suggestions from Ghanaians.
Some Ghanaians believe that the LGBTQ+ community and its activities should be criminalized, while others believe it violates human rights.
