Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia have asked the Chiefs and people of Wassa to honour his birthday by voting for President Akufo-Addo in the December 2020 polls.
Bawumia was on a campaign tour in the Western region and paid a courtesy call on the Chiefs in Atobiase in the Wassa East Constituency.
Chief of Atobiase, Nana Opia II wished the Vice President a happy birthday on behalf of his people and expressed his happiness to welcome him to their town, noting it as a historic visit.
In response, Dr Bawumia appealed to the chief and his people to vote for President Akufo-Addo as a birthday president for him.
He further pledged to embark on more developmental projects when the New Patriotic Party (NPP) wins the elections.
