Yesterday, the former President of the Republic of Ghana, who also serves as the leader of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), addressed Ghanaians.

The former first gentleman of the land, John Dramani Mahama, discussed all aspects of the Ghana economy in a speech titled “Ghana At A Crossroads.”

While speaking on the state of Ghana’s economy under the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-led administration, John Dramani Mahama posited that he is surprised at the way at which the Vice President was active while in opposition but silent and not working while in power.

He asserted that, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia was loud while in opposition because he was reading from an ordinary economics textbook and not knowledgeable in the area of economics as perceived.

“….Bawumia was reading from economic textbooks….”
