It has been declared by the Deputy Majority Leader that Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta would remove the disputed Electronic Transactions Levy (E-levy) from Parliament and resubmit it at a later date, as previously planned.

In accordance with Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the administration intends to eliminate the divisive tax on Tuesday, February 15.

A revised 1.5 percent e-levy will be re-introduced on Friday, February 18, according to an announcement made by the Effutu MP in his business statement for the next Parliament session next week.
