TheBBCghana.Com that veteran media professional and Tv personality, Emma Morrison, has resigned from Joy Fm, a subsidiary of the Multimedia Group Limited, where she worked as Head of News.
It is believed that her resignation takes effect today, 5th June 2020. It is still pretty much unclear what actually led to her resignation or where she will be heading to.
Multimedia has been hit with several resignations in recent times, having seen the departures of big names like Ohemaa Woyeje, Afia Pokuaa, Kofi Adomah, Captain Smart and Nana Yaa Brefo.
Emma Morrison has been in the media business for over two decades, having begun her journey in 1997 as a reporter/newscaster rising through the ranks to become the General Manager for News and Sports at TV3.
In 2019, she was adjudged Corporate Personality of the Year at the Glitz Women of the Year Honours. She has also, at a point in her career won some awards like the Newscaster of the Year and TV Personality of the Year.
