Ghanaians were hit with a piece of bad news as a 22-year-old Methodist Church Member who goes by the name Judith Appiah Kubi according to reports gathered by Despite Media’s UTV confirms that the said lady has committed suicide.
The unfortunate incident was reported to have been fuelled after some pastors claimed the 22-year-old Judith was a witch.
Appiah Kubi who hails from Assin Danwomako in the Assin South District of the Central Region of Ghana took her life after being accused of witchcraft by her family’s pastors. This was made known after the mother of Judith consulted her spiritual father (pastor).
Many Ghanaians reacted to this piece of bad news as they took to numerous social media platforms and expressed their disappointments and displeasure over the said issue.
According to the source of the news, the mother f Judith was going through hell as she has been battling an unknown sickness for a while. This led to the quest to find the answers to her problem, and it was later prophetized that her own daughter Judith had a hand in it.
In the early hours of this morning, the family of Judith Appiah Kubi has finally spoken over the issue on Kumasi-based Hello FM.
“We did not force her to death as reported by the news. As a family, we were discussing the issue and trying our possible means to find answers to it. Judith was loved, and it’s not true that we all neglected her as reported by the media…” – brother of Judith said on live radio.
This was said after the Kwame Nkrumah Tekese3 of Hello FM asked the brother of Judith that she was neglected by the family after the pastors declared her a witch.
