Duah Richmond Sarpong is an Accra-based bass guitarist and Educator from Kumasi- Ghana (Ashanti Region).
Duah Richmond Sarpong was born and raised in Suame an environ of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana on 24th February 1994.
He graduated with a degree in Music Education. He started singing in a church choir at the age of 12 and later transitioned to play the bass guitar when no one was available to play the bass at age 15.
His interest in music as a bassist grew gradually and became a passion that ended as a carrier for him. As a professional bassist, he has performed and shared the stage with a lot of great artists like Jedu Blay Ambulley, Shasha Marley, Bessa Simons, and many more.
He is also the bass guitarist for Accra Unplugged, a renowned music agency whose interest is to provide opportunity and platform for new and upcoming artists in Ghana every week.
He and his twin brother(Keyboardist) who happens to be in this great team met Bright Osei (Guitarist) in High School through a friend which after High School as friends we decided to form a band. Richmond is actually one of the founders of Adasamma.
