Ghana’s most handsome actor Yaw Adu, known in showbiz as Sumsum Ahuofe have stated that he never endorsed the ruling New Patriotic Party.
Sumsum was all over social media because of a picture of his raising four of his fingers which was depicting four more for Nana Addo after he went to register for his voter’s identity card.
Speaking to the seancity.net he stated that, he stated that it was just a pose with no political intentions.
When asked whether he will campaign when approached; “I will only campaign if I have a mansion”. He answered
He continued that Ghanaians do not understand politics and immediately they see that you are affiliated by any political party they stop watching your work and that will affect me as an artist.
“Why are Ghanaian’s like that, when Sarkodie pose for the picture they said was a Luminatti” He stated.
I did not even vote in 2016 and I was only snapping and pictures with my fans at the centre where I went to register. They did the sign and I also did some with no political intention.
