He was born and raised in Tema but originally hails from the Northern Region of Ghana. He developed a love of rap while attending school formed a group with his cousin Mugeez known as R2Bees in the year 2007.
The two cousins, who have been together their whole life, lived in the same house and also attended the same primary, a junior and secondary school in Tema.

They started off representing their school in rap competitions as well as inter-school music contests. This led them to participate in popular radio competition Kasahare, which they won most of and also performed at most shows; gaining them more buzz under their stage name at that time.
Their debut album which was called Da Revolution was released in the year 2009. Their second studio album was called, Da Revolution II and it was released in 2012.
The pair got nominated for Best International Act at the 2013 BET Awards soon afterwards. They have worked with big names such as Criss Waddle, Mr. Eazi, DJ Breezy, Sarkodie, Wizkid, Ed Sheeran, Fuse ODG and many more.
They are one of the most consistent and well-loved duo in Ghana; a force in the Ghanaian music industry.
