Nana Akomea, former NPP Director of Communications, justifies building National Cathedral despite the economic difficulty.

On March 5, 2020, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo lay the Cathedral’s foundation stone.

A National Cathedral Secretariat has been established to solicit contributions from people and the commercial sector for its construction.

The cathedral will include chapels, a baptistery, a 5000-seat two-level auditorium, a grand central hall, music school, choir rehearsal, art gallery, store, and multi-use rooms.
