Ghana’s Professor Hinson appointed interim VC for University of Kigali

Ghanaian Marketing Scholar Professor Robert E. Hinson has been appointed as the interim Vice Chancellor for the University of Kigali in Rwanda.

He takes over from Professor Gustave Tombola the immediate past Vice Chancellor of the University.

Professor Robert E. Hinson Is expected to lead the strategic drive of the University until a substantive Vice Chancellor is appointed for the University.

Announcing this in a tweet, the University of Kigali said “Professor Robert E. Hinson Appointed Interim Vice Chancellor of the University of Kigali Professor Robert E. Hinson has been appointed Interim Vice Chancellor of the University of Kigali, effective. 19th January 2022. He replaces Professor Gustave Tombola, the immediate past VC”.

Reacting to his appointment in a tweet Professor Robert E. Hinson indicated that he will make an impact regardless of the time he spends in the office.

He said “2 weeks or 2 years we will strive to do the very best we can God being our helper!!!!! For from his fullness we have all received grace upon grace!!”.
