President Akufo-Addo has suggested that the controversial Agyapa deal and its matters arising be looked into after the 2020 polls.
Reacting to the 67-page report on the risk assessment done by the Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu, the President directed the Finance Minister to send the deal back to Parliament for further deliberations to ensure transparency.
Amongst further instructions given by the President concerning the deal, he opined that in the interest of national consensus, the deal be addressed after the 2020 polls.
