Cybersecurity expert, Mick Osei Bonsu has warned Ghanaians over the increasing number of Ponzi Schemes that have in recent times dominated the cyberspace.
Mick who remains a Canadian based Ghanaian IT developer and cybersecurity expert has warned Ghanaians to be very vigilant as they invest in online artificial malls they don’t know their whereabouts.
Speaking to Professor Anokye on the emergence of these online scams citing CHY Mall as a case study. Mick as affectionately called hinted that there is nothing like an online mall that turns to exist which give Ghanaians the right to invest.
He further highlighted that they only use these means as a measure to only convince people to invest in the scheme as the triangle only needs ignorant people to invest and keep the triangle standing.
Mick concluded by cautioning Ghanaians to be careful about the scam and not to fall victims.
“Government will not pay CHY Mall customers when it collapses,” he said.
